The Decorative Fair is renowned for the fantastic array of vintage and antique lighting and mirrors offered by exhibitors across all disciplines and periods. Midwinter is a perfect time to show these items off to great effect, banishing the short-day greys. A special Foyer display will feature traditional and C20th period mirrors of all shapes and sizes, from over-mantels and pier glasses to sunbursts and Venetians; romantic chandeliers and modernist ceiling lights; wall-mounted illumination in French gilt or Murano glass, and from candle sconces to cantilevered arm-lights; fashionable floor lamps and creative table lamps 'upcycled' from vintage and antique decorative objects.

Around 140 dealers will participate in the Winter Fair, with a choice selection of decoration for design projects small or large, catering to buyers with both generous and modest budgets (unusual accessories and collectors' items can be found for well under £50).

International decorators have used the Fair since 1985 (when it was launched) as invaluable source of statement pieces, fine and interesting furniture for residential, public and retail projects. Recent customers have included American designers Michael Lawrence-Bullard and Kathryn Ireland, who both came shopping at the Autumn 2010 event. Regular trade buyers at the Fair are Nicky Haslam, Henrietta Spencer Churchill, Karen Millen (for her new design consultancy), Colefax & Fowler, Neisha Crosland, John Minshaw, Nina Campbell, Rupert Lord, Paolo Moschino, Jane Churchill, and retail buyers from Ralph Lauren, Paul Smith and Anthropologie.

Tickets: £10.00 including catalogue (which allows free return to Fair throughout the week)
Transport: from Sloane Square Tube take the free Renault shuttle service from Sloane Square Hotel to the Marquee, approximately every 15 minutes during opening hours.
