The exposition presents 12 masterpieces of French art of the 20th century from the collection of the Pompidou Center - famous works by Marcel Duchamp, Yves Klein, Martial Raysse, Jean Dubuffet, Cesar, Roman Opalka, Robert Filiou, Daniel Buren, Gerard Garouste, Georges Mathieu, and Bernard Lavier, whose works are exhibited in St Petersburg for the first time.

An illustrated catalogue with introductions of Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage; Alain Seban, President of the Pompidou Center and Alfred Pacquement,Director of the National Museum of Modern Art has been prepared for the exhibition.
