“Based in New York and headed by Marco Grassi and his son Matteo, Grassi Studio is a gallery specializing in European Old Master paintings. The gallery, located in Manhattan's SoHo district, was, for over twenty years, home to a private paintings conservation practice under the direction of the elder Mr. Grassi, a well-known restorer. More recently, with the collaboration of Matteo, the studio has evolved into a gallery, open to the public by appointment.”
